I have worked closely with clients to develop designs that not only satisfy their needs, but go beyond their expectations. My specialization in web design and web site development, however, I also have experience in video design and production, motion graphics, print design, and company branding.
Research
Before the design process begins, it is important to conduct research about the client’s target audience, determine what the competition is doing, and explore various design approaches in order to define a style that best represents the client.
Design
A simple and clean website layout is key to designing for the web. It is important to consider accessibility and functionality when developing concepts. While it is essential to create out-of-the-box design when needed, the user interface must be universal and easy for the users to navigate.
Tools
The tools that are used to make it easier to develop modern and sophisticated web interfaces, print designs, and other media include software that is found in the latest Adobe Creative Suite. This includes software titles such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Flash.
Development
Xhtml, css, PHP, and Flash Actionscript 2.0/3.0 are implemented to work seamlessly with designs to create visually appealing and functional web sites. Some of these web languages are utilized to provide effortless user interaction. Depending on the needs of the client, websites are also made to be ADA compliant, ensuring accessibility to all users.
